A poll was made for the teaser trailer, so I thought I should make one for the new trailer. :woot:

Ten from me. Best trailer I've seen in a long time.

I gave the 1st trailer a 10, not because it was all-world or anything but because of how they just nailed the tone and feel of the comic, the political undercurrents etc and that satisfied me greatly.

This trailer though..i mean, its honestly one of the best trailers i've ever seen for an action movie, period. Everything looks ridiculously badass. If this movie disappoints, i"m going to curl up in a ball. I'm trying to hold my expectations in check but..

Easy 10

The shot of the two Helicarriers in full broadside battle was one of the most impressive things I've seen, Can't wait to see that in Cinema.

I'd give it a 10, trailer was epic & did exactly what it needed to do: build interest. I admittedly liked the first trailer, but this one was just better in every way.

On consideration, that definitely points to SHIELD not be entirely the villain of the movie. Someone takes over a Helicarrier and assets and fights the heroes, obviously. . . but there is no way a small group of heroes "fighting the Man" is going to crew and fight a whole damn Helicarrier for themselves. So, looks like your going to have Loyal/True SHIELD fight against Corrupt/Infiltrated SHIELD.

10. So pumped for this, the first trailer was great but this blows that one away

Both trailers get a 10 from me. This one though, really earned the hell out of it, for all the iconic WS imagery and action sequences alone.

6/10 for me. I still imagine the film can be really good if the story is well done, but these trailers haven't done much for me yet.

Positives:
+More Cap.
+Fury's line about Cap giving the orders now. Awesome.
+The shot of Falcon's wings spreading.
+Cap flipping in the air

Negatives:
-Music
-Visual direction (It looks very sterile to me. All grey with no grit.)
-It feels emotionally...empty? Perhaps I need to see more of Cap's POV. We know what he thinks ("this isn't freedom, this is fear"), but how does he feel?
-Most of the action is underwhelming to me. Winter Soldier doesn't do anything for me (note I haven't read the comic).
-ScarJo as Black Widow. Still doesn't do anything for me.

Just my opinion. Please don't be mean.

It's brave of you to give such an opinion here, I just feel if what you wanted was delivered we'd have too much of the movie exposed.

This is it for me anyways, I always permit myself the 2 trailers but avoid all the spots and other promotional material because personally I want to have some fresh images left for when I'm in the theater.

I personally give this trailer a solid 10 for doing exactly what I thought it should do, and that is sinking its hook in me with beautiful imagery and a tease of a great payoff.

It just didn't leave any impression on me.

I'd say the first teaser for Man of Steel was much more enticing for me, and it only showed Superman in the suit for one shot (the only 'action' shot, which I found to be more awesome than all the action in TWS's trailer combined)

Other trailers I liked: The Master, Only God Forgives, The Double, Godzilla, all of which didn't show much of the movie.

Maybe the best genre trailer since 2003 and X2.

A perfect 10.

The 30 second ad played during the Super Bowl pregame show was amazing as well, in terms of the music and visuals and its placement. Disney obviously arranged to have the ad played right after the singing of America The Beautiful, which allowed the juxtaposition of the imagery (Cap's red, white and blue shield) and the solemn instrumental version of The Star-Spangled Banner in the ad to hit the viewer immediately after the patriotic song on the field. It was very well planned by Disney's marketing department.

I was sorely disappointed by the first trailer (gave it a 6/10 I think) This one is a bit more to my liking. The film still seems to lack some color.A visual flare.Something I can't describe.Action looks cool though.Nice to see Cap in costume somewhat more than the first trailer.Falcon's costume still looks blah.
8/10

This was one of the best trailers for a genre film. I expect this film to be a bigger success than Thor's sequel.

It's a trailer not the full movie, a lot of your complaints seem to have to do with elements that wouldn't fit into a trailer. Anyway, 9/10 for me.

"Looks like your giving the orders now, Captain." *kicks up shield and bangs on it with fist* "Damn right." Nuff Said. 10/10 trailer.

Looks great, only thing I'm disapointed in is that they spoiled who dies in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Plus it's just for media attention and does not bring any real need for the story. It's not a TV show. I hate that fiction movie series are doing that these days.

Spider-Man 3: Harry Osborn

X-Men: The Last Stand: Jean Grey, Scott Summers, and Charles Xavier. Scott was just decided by the filmmakers because they didn't like the character, but that was disgraceful to the fans, moreover it was just pure stupid.

The Dark Knight: Rachel Dawes (Didn't seem necessary until The Dark Knight Rises)

The Avengers: Phil Coulson (Yeah I know he's alive now) but still, I think it was an unnessecary factor in the film.

Thor: The Dark World: Thor's Mother (Don't know her name)

The thing is I can always see through the movie, and know it was just the writers aim to make it more dramatic or disapointing. I can always see when that is coming.

So not many died in the Iron Man series except the bad guys. At least that's refreshing.

So now...

Captain America: The Winter Soldier:
Nick Fury

Unnecessary once again. You're going to use a character and then just kill them off eventually. Lame. Doesn't make me feel any motivated by sadness at all.
