Great Bond film!!!! Loved it! So exciting! The car chases were amazing, action scenes that never bore, I love it.

GoldenEye was boring. Better story, but still boring. I am sick of more Russia involvment already. The World Is Not Enough was good. The story was kinda dull, but also exciting. Die Another Day... was okay.

Oh, come on, DAD was awful. And what I think made Goldeneye and TWINE far superior to TND is that the plots and villains of the two first fit much better a post Cold War spy series. There is something terribly bland and generic about Carver and his scheme. Seeing how often Bond fought evil billionnaires, I sometiems wonder why he didn't become a Communist himself.

A media baron manipulating the media to start World War III? That's not bland and generic. I'd be the first to aknowledge that Carver in personality is very much a typical Bond meglomaniac. But his actual scheme is fresh and has a nice satirical edge that grows more appropriate every year.

I love it.

One of my favorites. Certainly my fave Brosnan Bond movie. Michelle Yeoh really impressed me as the Bond "girl", although she held her own moreso than almost anyone else in the franchise. A character like Jinx from DAD wishes she had half the punch Wai Lin had. Jonathan Pryce as Carver was an excellent villain, just the way I like 'em. I thought the story was believable and well executed. It does run on a little long to my feeling. After the fifth or sixth chase through this or that part of a city, it gets a little boring. But still, on the whole it's immensely enjoyable. The song by Sheryl Crow is the best one they had for years (I wasn't impressed that much by Garbage, Tina Turner and certainly not Madonna). The rest of the soundtrack is really good too (Moby!, Propellerheads!)... Good stuff!
