Ok, of course I'm making a thread for this. Hopefully there isn't another. So have you seen it. All of it. The OVA, TV series, and the hideous sequals.

Would you like to see a live-action, if so with who?

Who did you root for: Parn or Ashram, Pirotess or Deedlit...?

Heck no! Live-action Lodoss would reek!

Hated Parn and hated Ashram. Orshin pre-"Emotion" pwned! As for Deedlit or Pirotess... both... in the same bed....

The short-lived Orshin and Shiris.

I was kind of disappointed with the end of the TV series. I do hope to watch the OAV one day.

The hardest part of bringing Record of Lodoss War into live action is trying not to make it feel like a knock off of Lord of the Rings. And Parn needs a bit of an IQ upgrade; it's been a while since I watched the series but from what I can remember he wasn't very bright & tended to forget that you couldn't charge sorcerers and sorceresses.
