Rendel is upcoming superhero movie from Finland and it's directed by Jesse Haaja. The release will be in 2016. It's exciting to see someone making a superhero movie here where I live so can't wait to see this. It will be interesting to see more. They have crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo:

I agree. He kind of looks like Spawn but not too much. I think he looks cool. Finnish media is reporting that the teaser 2 has been received well at Cannes film festival and the budget is 1,1 million euros right now.

Found the DVD at WalMart yesterday. Watched it this morning. It's rated R for language and violence....has some graphic violence, a fair amount of dark humor. As some have said....the suit kind of looks like Spawn....he acts like the Punisher except he doesn't use guns....just what ever is at hand (crowbar, axe, ballbat with nails in it...). Took me a little bit to determine that the film jumps from present day to some indeterminate time in the past, because there is nothing to show that there is a difference. Decent movie.
