As much as I HATE the amount of undeserved bashing this film gets, I will admit that was quite funny.

So far Rifftrax and the Agona Booth are the ONLY two sources to successfully slam the film, IMO. Everyone else is just a pathetic attempt saying stuff like "ITZ SOO GAY" or "NIPPLES GAWD!"

If you're NOT a part of the two aformentioned sources, you should stop bashing the film now, because not only does it really not deserve it that much, but you can't even bash it the correct way.

"Is it environmentally responsible to have a nuclear-powered Batmobile?"
"This is why Superman works alone. Actually it's because of his crippling Asperger's syndrome."

    :lmao:

This movie is awful. It's only while reveling in the fact that the Batman franchise eventually emerged from the abyss it was herded into by this abomination, that I can respond to its sheer absurdity with laughter. Outside of some of the bold visuals and Michael Gough's performance, it's practically irredeemable. The dialogue, the story execution, depth of most of the characters, overall consistency ...blech. It should be mocked in perpetuity as an example of what not to do when producing a feature in this genre.

How hard is it to take the p*ss out of Batman & Robin? Not very.

Aren't they a little late with this... the movie is 11 years old.

Can we please, for the love of Hype!, stop moaning/*****ing/making ten year-old jokes about Batman & Robin?

Due to the constant criticism, it's probably the most talked-about movie in the history of these boards, after the first Spider-Man movie.

Shut up now. It's not as if there aren't loads of awful, awful comicbook flicks out there. The likes of Spawn and Catwoman have gotten off lightly.

B&R criticism will go on as long as people talk about bad movies in the near future. There's no need for anyone to 'shut up' about it, just as there's no need for people to critique movies in general, other than preference.

As long as superhero movies are being made and Batman is a viable character for such, aspersions will be cast that mess of a film.

It was very bad. The closest to B&R I've seen in nature.

THe first spider-man movie was good, the second had too much strange things and the third one was bad. Still hate things like organic webshooters, *****-MJ and sympathic villains.

I'm of the opposite mindset. I'm a lifelong Spideyfan and I thought it was brilliant. The best superhero film trilogy that's ever been.

I liked all three Spider-Man movies, but I actually felt that the first one was the weakest.

I'm a lifelong spideyfan, too, when I was younger he was probably my favourite character even before Batman & Superman. So a lot of the changes annoy me as hell. For example making Norman Osborn, Doc Ock and even the Sandman (who was on the Top Ten FBI criminal list) tragic characters, while in the comics they were all ****ed up.

If B&R gets lampooned by Rifftrax then Fantastic Four 2 needs to be as well.

There is almost no difference between Chris O'Donnell's performance as Robin in B&R and Chris Evans' performance as Johnny Storm.

I've not seen the FF hate, either. FF wasn't a masterpiece by any means, but it certainly captured the spirit of what I know about the comics. And FF2 was even better.

FF1 was OK. Wasn't a masterpiece but it had that thing that made me enjoy it. It had it's charm and it's humour.

FF2 just washed all that charm and humour away and what we got was a dumb borefest. It was Superman IV all over again for me :down
