Rip audio from Youtube?

How do you do it? I'm trying to get the audio from this:

go to keepvid.com, and steal the video first from you tube. that will take some figuring out, and in order for it to work you will need Cinema Forge. Then you will have to convert the video file to an mp3. And I can't remember where you can get a free program for that, because I uninstalled it a long time ago.

First convert the file to an avi and then convert the avi to a Wav file and you have your audio only file,

It's easy for you to do that by some youtube program, I always use it to help me get audio from youtube. And you can also use it to help you rip audio from downloaded youtube videos on your computer.

It also got an addon for firefox, Chrome, and Safari.

You can choose to save the video in various formats, or choose just to save the audio on it's own.

You don't have to download the program that is advertised below, instead just paste the link into the download box above and go from there.

i dont know what the original video here was, but why would anyone want to rip audio from youtube? the audio quality serves its purpose for a youtube video, but outside of that its total crap. presuming we are talking about music here, there are far easier ways to download high quality music for free.

Yeah but then sometimes you want a song that's really obscure and you can't find it any other way. Or it could be a new song that hasn't been released yet. Also video2mp3.net downloads audio in HQ so I can't really tell the difference and it's much faster than other means of getting it.
