RIVERDALE

"Chapter Twelve: Anatomy of a Murder" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)

THINGS ARE NOT ALWAYS AS THEY SEEM - Archie (KJ Apa) and Veronica (Camila Mendes) are shocked to learn of the arrest but know they need to come clean to their parents about what they uncovered. Still hurt by the betrayal of his friends and torn over who to trust, Jughead (Cole Sprouse) reluctantly joins them in a quest for truth. Meanwhile, Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) confronts her mom about why she treats her so much worse than she ever did with Jason. Lili Reinhart, Luke Perry, Madchen Amick, Marisol Nichols also star. Rob Seidenglanz directed the episode written by Michael Grassi (#112). Original airdate 5/4/2017.
Tonight is the night.

Netflix: The Cast Makes Their Guesses

I'm more shocked at the incest than the killer's identity.

That episode banner at the top is giving me 90s tv guide realness!

It was a good episode, I am not TOTALLY shocked about the killer but at least they did take me on a brief doubt trip of pointing fingers.

The revelation that the Coopers are offshoots of the Blossoms was shocking though.

Thought it was really good. Show amazed me with how much it hooked me.

Depending on when they put it up on Netflix US, I could binge watch this like 50 times this summer.

Didn't see coming but creepy Clifford was certainly a candidate.
Episode had a great intensity and momentum.
The Cooper/Blossom reveal was more shocking to me as well.
Missed the usual humor, but of course it would have been out of place in this ep-
my biggest laugh was the casual outfit that Veronica tossed on in two minutes to go find Jughead at Pops'. Oh Ronnie.

It goes up on Netflix in 2 weeks.

As for the killer, [blackout]I hope there are twists when it comes to the Why of it all, because the dude who has spent all season seeming shady being a killer is kind of like "Oh, you don't say?"[/blackout] Making your way through this kind of material, I think we're all preconditioned to expect it NOT to be one of the first people we would suspect it of being.

Wonder who Archie is punching in the promo, though.

Is this really shocking all things considered?

That they went there, yes. It's one thing to have [BLACKOUT]incest[/BLACKOUT] but another to have [BLACKOUT]a teenager pregnant with incest babies.[/BLACKOUT]

Awesome episode. Damn, I love this show. But what do they do for an encore 2nd season?

What an episode. The killer's identity was definitely on the predictable side but the way they revealed it all was REALLY well done.

Eh, they're third cousins. It's not that incesty.

Eh, they're third cousins. It's not that incesty.

That probably depends on culture though, American seem sensitive about that. In Asian second cousins isn't considered incest, though it's a bit icky (the word "incest" is only thrown around siblings, uncle/ aunt/ niece/ nephews and first cousins). I've even talked to some people in Europe and they say that even first cousins isn't considered incest (it's mostly legal there too), though it's unusual.

The Coopers saying the word "incest" again and again even though Polly and Jason have the same great-great-grandfather just made me roll my eyes.

But then you have Mrs Blossom making it even worse...

I also like that FP isn't completely free and clear, as the moving of the body would be a crime.

Or Hal since he stole the murderboard. The Andrews are the only law abiding family.

Netflix US doesn't have the show yet? That's surprising since us Canadians don't even have all the content you guys have but we do have Riverdale.

US Netflix gets the whole series a week after the season finale airs. I don't think Canada gets CW.
