DreamWorks has optioned the action-comedy spec The Secret Lives of Road Crews by Kevin Lund and T.J. Scott, with Hal Lieberman producing, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The story revolves around a clandestine group of road crew workers who are the last line of defense against a subterranean alien race.
Lund and Scott recently sold an untitled action pitch to New Line Cinema, with Temple Hill Entertainment's Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen producing and Channing Tatum attached to star.
They previously set up Vivaldi at Columbia Pictures and Imagine Entertainment.
