I picked this up yesterday. Pretty good start to a series.

Finally read my copy yesterday.

First impressions:
The visuals of this book really was the stand out. The artwork/inks/colors/font are all very captivating and made me want to stare at every inch of the panel.
Kirkman's story is nothing to dismiss here, I felt within this first issue he made me care for these characters and want to read where things go from here. Which ultimately is the goal for any creator.
