(11/11/06) A piece I did months ago for fun -- with TP's release on the horizon, felt it was right to share it. Didn't finish the shading, but like I said, all of these are done for fun ... enjoy!

(11/11/06) In continuuing a VG motif, here's a quickie of Solid Snake (I personally hate how he looks in the upcoming MGS4 -- that mustache looks horrible!). I cut him waist-down because I hadn't finished my shading there.

(11/11/06) As much as I love Superman and all he stands for, I think everyone deep down favors Batman. This is actually a fairly old sketch that I dug up. As I don't draw licensed characters that much, I haven't drawn much more of Bats since this one (may be an occasional one here and there, but this is when I think I cared a little more about getting him right) ...

Hi everyone; it has been a loooong time since I have posted anything here. Does not mean I stopped drawing -- it has been nearly impossible since I started school but drawing remains a way to de-stress.

I have posted a quick sketch to share. It is of Samus Aran.

I'll pop in now and then to put others up depending on whether I feel any of them are at least presentable. As always, feel free to post comments. Enjoy!

i REALLY wish the samples stuff wasn't plastered all over your pics (i think in general nobody around here's stealing your stuff) but I enjoy your thread so far.

Here's another quick drawing from last night. I've always been a big fan of 2-D fighting games ... in large part b/c I can sit down, play a little and not have to make any huge commitments ... but another reason is because of the character designs. Here's a pic featuring Capcom's Chun-Li against newcomer Heart Aino from Atlus' recently released Arcana Heart.

New sketch -- just something I threw together this morning in between researching for a paper ... It's been a while since I've drawn ol' Supes ... have to admit that while he remains my favorite comic book character, I've lost some interest in him since Singer's lackluster SR flick, which painted him far less than the iconic, principled hero he's supposed to stand for.

Sorry guys -- for some reason, my art kept disappearing -- Put the new Superman one up again (at top). Also, moved an older Superman-Lois piece I did a while back over here for those who missed it. It's interesting to compare this Supes to the one above -- at the time, I was psyched to see SR and this Supes reflects a much younger iteration. Clearly, my more recent pic goes back to the older Superman (which, frankly, is the better Superman) ;-) Enjoy!
