S.w.a.t.

Fighting Angel's Lindsey,/The Liberian's Stone was the second time that Chris barely survived while in a hand to hand fight with a man. It is weird for a show at this level of realism where super soldier women typically go through males like Black Widow through a hallway full of guards.
I was honestly a little surprised they'd show her getting beat so much since so many shows go overboard in trying to have small, petite women just ragdoll men much larger than them.

Being grounded with Chris taking damage just doesn't fit in with Hondo sniping while standing up on a helicopter platform or Officer Street racing his bike through the streets. It is like they were written for two different shows.

 I don't get the correlation. What does racing a bike have to do with someone taking damage in a fight?

An officer of the law racing his bike through the streets and leading others on a high speed chase to his first day of work at a new department and later engaging in illegal street racing. That is not the height of realism of say Adam-12 or Southland , it is more in the fantasy realm of Sledgehammer

And Street has shown on numerous occasions that he's immature and was only really in SWAT due to Commander Buck's pulling of strings. That immaturity and blind spot towards his mother's emotional manipulations is what eventually led to Hondo demoting him back down to patrol at the end of S1. He's only now close to getting back on SWAT after realizing his errors.

Street's arc has been one of the best things in the show I think, his relationship with Chris is one of the highlights.

Kinda wondering why Hondo is feeling so bad about killing an armed suspect in the next episode:

Seems like kind of a waste of Debbie Allen to have her only show up in like the last 30 seconds. Besides that, it was interesting that the bank robbers were a group of 4 female Israeli army vets on a revenge mission against a Jewish businessman who made their parents unwitting diamond smugglers and had them killed when they refused to continue.

Really good episode dealing with a SLA/Patty Hearst-type situation that isn't completely solved and that group could pop up in the future. Liked how they dealt with Luca's family history with the case. Kind of had a feeling that they'd give Devlin get the spot over Street but there'd be an opening elsewhere so Street could end up in SWAT again.

I wonder where they are going with Hondo off the reservation after the attempted rape of his sister. I guess "reporting" himself to his new girlfriend Deputy DA will give his ex girlfriend Captain a way out when it becomes official

Get the feeling we could be seeing more of Hicks' daughter as Street, going against the advice of both his teammates and Hicks, was flirting with her. I also get the feeling we haven't seen the end of Deac's money problems and it possibly affecting his performance during a call.

Congratulations to S.W.A.T. for achieving something that the original series never did,
A Third Season Renewal!

Although it had a low bar to cross, not many reboots can say they lasted longer than the original.

Well for the show better Street ends up with her the next season rather than keep down the Street with his big sister partner angle that they are pushing for the romantic triangle. I wish they make it a done deal rather than stay with a jealous Chris

Street and Chris will end up together IMO, Hicks daughter is just being added in as another roadblock so they can drag things out as they always do in these shows with the "Will they, wont they" angles.

Well the daughter is back for Street, along with a new Lieutenant who knows a lot of people who know everything. We got to meet a civilian tech guy from her rolodex. Papa Hondo has the illness and possibly reconciliation with Mama Hondo
