I just bought myself a 14 gallon salt water aquarium and am going to try and re-create scenes from Finding Nemo.

Just kidding Catman. Anyways, I will be putting in it 2 clownfish, a royal gamma, and a yellow goby.

Anybody else here own salt water aquariums? What fish do you have? Is knowsbleed alright after his depression thread? Discuss aquarium lovers:woot:

I once had a blowfish, very disappointing

I was going to just buy the aquarium and put in grass and plastic dinosaurs like in Pineapple Express but I have always wanted salt water fish. They are soooo pretty.

These are the fishies I want

I've worked with aquariums for years. Only have a freshwater currently though.

Patience is the key to saltwater(actually all aquariums, but esp. salt water). Don't rush things.

I put everything in there at once and it all died:(

Yeah, I know it takes patience but they look so cool.

i had a salt water tank growing up.... and there definately a very beautiful thing.... but there also a really expensive investment. There very hard to maintain, the fish are expensive... and you never know what could harm or injure others. We had to hire a lady to come and clean and regulate it as well.

We bought a fish that was like dori ($50) next day a crab was holding her dead in its clutches...

the salt from the tank also peeled the paint off our wall.. bubbling it up too.

i don't regret having one... but you really do have to have the funds for it.

Why did you put crap in your tank!?

:D You mean a crab? Did it kill it?

lol yeah, i havent been able to type correctly lately :(, i think either my brain or hands are malfunctioning. lol.

but yea.. the crab killed it... (i think it was a hermit crab) and... we flushed the dead fish, and him for killing it.

it might of been our decorator crab.. (those rock) but... anything that kills a $50 fish, needs to go

I had a fresh water crab that kept trying to escape the tank. The family and me came home one night and found him on the floor.

Finish the story...

Oh ok, I'll do it for you:

We then decided to go to the doctor... because when they start trying to "escape the tank", things are bad.

The fish were fine, and we are fine several years later.

Why didn't you keep a squirrel in there?

Agreed... the Caucasianicity leaks from Chaseter's pores. He should have actually said, "Yell at me very loudly!"
