Saving/Copying a CD to your hardrive

I got this science textbook CD from school from class last week, and that I need to install it and return the CD and that you should be able to have the infomation on the computer without putting a CD into the computer.So I install and it works with the CD but I am unable to acess the information without the CD.It says I need to save the CD into the hardrive but I don't know how to do that.Tips?Answers?

Try uninstalling it, then installing again. If you have an option choose "full installation" or something like that. Oftentimes you can choose whether or not to install everything or just enough to run with the CD.

Maybe he didn`t have a cd writter, plus if its coming off a school text book its going to be copywritten and thats illegal!
