Daredevil Season 2, Episode 3 "New York's Finest" (USE SPOILER TAGS!)

I liked that unlike his comic counterpart Matt found a third option to his sadistic choice, even if it still resulted in tragedy. Although it helped that he had a loaded gun.

And Hallway Fight II owned, especially the usage of the chain.

Love the exchange on the roof and the contrast of ideologies. Underscored both men well.

:unishr: "Take the shot!"
:daredevil "Go to hell!"
:unishr: "Too late."

i love this ep!..it is so awesome!.. that staircase scene! that is superb

That stairway fight is about even with the hallway fight. This is definitely one of the series best episodes.

i humbly think that that stairway scene is better than the hallway fight!..the intensity !~

Awesome back and forth between Frank and Daredevil and the flips DD did towards the end of the fight sequence were sick! The whole fight sequence was awesome. That was probably the last one of the day for me. I want to make the show last and I have NCAA tournament games to watch.

The stairwell fight is all the business. Good googa mooga.

Probably the best episode so far (haven't seen anything past it yet) and possibly the best episode of the show overall. The tension between Frank and Matt is awesome, and the stairwell fight managed to top the hallway sequence in season one. Wow. So, so good. Also, the stuff with Claire, Happy and Karen was great too. This show is TOO good.

Replace Happy with Foggy and I'll co-sign on to this. Best episode of Daredevil so far and can't wait to watch 4.

Foggy sure got his inner ''Harvey Specter''on during the hospital scene in this episode

-You okay, sir?
-Yeah.
-Get in your apartment and lock the door.
-What about you?
-I'm good...

****ing epic! What an incredible fight scene that was! And an episode in general! Loved every minute of it.

Epic fight scene! Some random thoughts from this episode in spoiler tags for safety:

I loved the rooftop conversations. I love how they referenced the confrontation from the Ennis/Dillon run, but I think the way they resolved it here was more realistic. Daredevil would never have taken the shot at Punisher.

Another one-take fight sequence. But I would say like the hallway fight from season 1 there are spots where they could've used tricks to change shot. I like how Daredevil still had the gun and change binded to his hands and had to make due with that.

It's too bad Frank didn't get to use all that ordinance he had up there. I can only assume his plan was to take out the whole Dogs of Hell.

Damn, Bernthal is nailing it as Castle. That rooftop scene may be my favourite in the whole MCU

Yeah, the hallway fight was impressive, but the stairway fight took it to a whole other level.

This was a great episode, maybe the best so far.

Holy ***** this was an incredible episode, the whole talk between Punisher and Red about being a hero, the morale conundrum Frank poses to Red and that insane fight at the end in the stairway.

They really have nailed Frank this time round, best episode so far this season.

What an amazing episode. Between the conversation and interaction with Frank and DD on the roof to that stairway fight, incredible stuff.

F'n loving the interaction with Frank and Daredevil on the rooftop

Was it just me, or was that a Guardians of the Galaxy reference when Matt said to Frank, "Oh boo hoo, everyone's lost someone"?

Hallway/stairwell fight was awesome. I liked the red lighting at the bottom of the stairs.

I like that they show Daredevil catching his breathe in these long fights. Nice little touches like that ground the show a little.

I really like what they are doing with The Punisher in the show. Frank actually gets to play off another character and explain his point of view/world view/ideology which I don't recall him getting to do much of in the last two Punisher films.

I loved Daredevil whipping the fluorescent lights with the chain to knock them out. Lack of light is an advantage for him.

Did anyone else catch this reference at the beginning of the hallway fight?
