Really liking Malcolm a lot more this season.

He's definitely a character that grew on me. He was hard to like at first (in fairness, what I found annoying was drawn directly from the comics, but I frankly forgot he was even a comics character). Second season, he's been consistently strong.

The investigation stuff was really cool here. I like Jess going to the mental hospital and all that. I also like finding out about Dr. Karl and how he's the real killer. The ending was definitely very intense.

Patsy's mom is annoying, but I think in a good way. In the comics, she ended up trying to sell Patsy's soul to the devil in exchange for continuing to live, so she should be a terrible person. I noticed that Trish didn't say "yes" to the marriage proposal. I'm fine with Boyfriend being done with the show (but I remember hints that he might have sinister motivations). Four Stars. Torn between this and four and a half. I liked the mental hospital investigation a lot and will probably end up thinking back to that as the highlight.

Ditto. Though I didn't hate him last season like some people did, he is great this season.

Didn't realise he was hated last season. Big improvement anyway for sure.

That baby scene angered me since I don’t believe a mother would just go to a person’s house like that.

I agree with others about liking Malcolm. He might actually be the only fully likeable person in this show right now for me.

The ending of the episode was cool except I was hoping for some superhero stuff.

I've liked Malcolm all along. :)

I think Costa has the potential to become a crossover character, with his secret advocating for what Jessica did to Kilgrave. Kinda hope he maybe pops up in season 3 of Daredevil and he's under Brett Mahoney's supervision.

On an unrelated note, public proposals like the one Griffin pulled here, I think they are a form of emotional abuse. A marriage proposal should not come as a surprise. It should be the next step in a relationship that both parties have discussed beforehand. Public proposals, especially done with huge spectacle and the involvement of a notoriously abusive mother? He made it impossible for Trish to say no publicly without looking bad.

I can't disagree about the marriage proposal. :( Not handled very well.

I mean, Griffin's a decent guy but that doesn't entitle him to a fiancée. They hadn't even moved in together, not to mention the IGH investigation stressing Trish out. Dude was being selfish and didn't even consider Trish's feelings before getting her mother to manipulate her into 'performing' in front of an audience. That's a freaking parade of red flags.

There was also the ****** whammy of Trish thinking she was going to have a shot at being a legitimate member of the news media only to have that rug pulled out from under her.
