LENA MOVES FORWARD WITH NON NOCERE – Lex (guest star Jon Cryer) tasks Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) with protecting Andrea (Julie Gonzalo) from an anti-tech extremist, but his nefarious purpose goes beyond merely keeping Andrea alive. Meanwhile, Lena (Katie McGrath) moves forward with Non Nocere, with Lex’s help. Gregory Smith directed the episode with story by Lindsay Sturman and teleplay by Emilio Ortega Aldrich & Chandler Smidt (#514). Original airdate 3/8/2020.

Because with network TV the season goes from October to May with 22 episodes there have to be skip weeks. This year for example CW started the season the week of October 6th and will presumably end the week of May 17, that’s 33 weeks to air 22 episodes.

Nope, nothing special that I know of. I know Flash is skipping 3/3 because of elections in the US. Based on how CW has done things in the past I think after this break we'll get four straight weeks then a two skip weeks then the last five straight through.

Before and after the Crisis, Supergirl still is not aware of Andrea’s shadow powers.

Nice of Brainiac to bring back one of his multiverse counterparts. Lex looks to be closer to Leviathan than we thought.

It was pretty much a filler.

So these lenses produce addiction. That was predictable. And Lena will probably find there are other side effects on these prisoners.

I can see at the end of this season that Andrea will have to cull Obsidian.

Only thing I really liked about this episode was showing how Lena's master plan could actually appear like a good idea. And I liked that they brought back that one prisoner guy to do it. But that's about it.

I liked it. It was good to see J'onn and Alex having screen time, esp with him helping her deal with her post DEO Crisis. Cool little tool he gave her also. Still wondering what happened to that alien gun she liked so much...
Though I like it when Supergirl uses her fists, it was also nice to see her talking someone down instead.

My major gripe is that somehow, Obsidian's release was more important than the entire city losing power..? Did I hear that right, that with a major loss of power in the city, the Obsidian release would get first priority? And that things would 'of course' blow up?

Good episode, though next week's looks more like a filler than this one was.
