Sega's Shinobi

I'm in.

Oh and Terry do you have some sort of contract with Comingsoon?

If I did they wouldn't be paying me nearly enough. :o I just go on the home page daily and see what's new.

Give me a reason to believe this will be good.

Revenge of Shinboi was one of my favorite games back in the day, hope this is good.

I'm in. I'm so in. I remember pumping quarters into this, Space Harrier, Golden Axe and Altered Beast.

I always wished they'd make next-gen remakes.

I hope they do make this base it off the first one.

Logan Lerman as Joe Musashi? Not non-Japanese enough? How about Zac Efron?

I do love how when they cast someone white in a role with an ethnic name they say the person is actually biracial.

"Well...his first name is Joe...so maybe his mother was from New York and named Josephine?"

In all seriousness, I'm surprised this got greenlit before a Ninja Gaiden movie did.

No, no, no, they won't do. This is an obscure Japanese franchise therefore they need a bankable star. Obviously it will be Chris Pratt or bust. :o

Dylan if he wasn't nearly crippled by that accident. Poor dude.

Well look, technically it's not greenlit yet. They still have to get a script written. And then they have to get it financed and all that.

I mean it's one thing to say you will develop a Sonic the Hedgehog movie, but another one to actually make it.

Not against the idea of a Shinobi movie. I like the games and I like ninjas. Would like to see a movie with crazy super-powered ninjas that can do crazy stuff and fight monsters. Not sure it translates for a Hollywood audience, but oh well.

I tried that game years after playing Return of the Ninja Master, couldn't get into it as much as I wanted to.

Hope Sega has the Creative Control because this time The Lead Should be Asian

Better have that damn dog/wolf sidekick.

Give him this costume and the white one.
Joe Musashi needs to be Asian
Shuriken, throwing knives and ninja magic are a must
And please have Ken-Oh as the first villain he faces.

Honestly the entire concept is so 80s I would actually hope they keep the movie in that time period.

Ryu Hyabusa was in that awful Dead or Alive movie. He and that movie sucked, but he's already been in a live action movie.
