"Shaun Sipos (Melrose Place, Vampire Diaries) will take on the series regular role of Adam Strange, playing the "world-weary human, who finds himself stranded on Krypton as the unlikely mentor to Seg-El, Superman’s grandfather.""

""It's a show that, although it takes place centuries ago on Krypton about the House of El, it's about a conspiracy from the present that has traveled back in time to to Krypton to prevent Superman's legacy from ever happening," DC president Geoff Johns said at SDCC. "Adam Strange and Hawkwoman come to Krypton trying to stop the conspiracy and save Superman's legacy," Johns revealed. "Doomsday will be in the show. Brainiac is long overdue to be on screen like that.""

Anyone know if this guy is any good? Adam Strange is an interesting character and not one I ever expected to see in live action, so hopefully they do him justice here. At the very least, it's cool to see one of DC's more obscure characters show up in a significant way.

He’s good in this, I hope we get to see the classic costume at some point though

I didn't like the writers having the character describe himself as a "D-lister" in the most recent episode.

I'll give 'em this much: Adam Strange is one of those characters whose glory days are probably forever behind him. He had one stellar period in the early 60s, mostly the collaborations of Gardner Fox and Carmine Infantino, and from then on he's been relegated to guest shots and one or two unsuccessful reboots.

But, as forgetful as the current generation about the glory days of previous generations, Adam's golden years are substantial enough to make him at least a "C-lister."

Leave the term "D-list" for "never-was'es" like B'wana Beast.

If they ever wanted Strange to ever get of the D-List, this was not the way to do it.

I liked Shaun’s performance, but was pretty annoyed by Adam’s decisions as the episodes went on.
