Shooting at a Florida high school, 17 murdered

I'm done, man.

It's too bad that we can do nothing about this. You know, price of freedom in all that. On another note, congratulations to the NRA for their increase in gun sales. Cause the blood of our children is a small price to pay for your profits.

What can we even say at this point? We've all argued our points about gun control, mental illness and society to death. People have complained to the politicians, gun manufacturers and lobbiests since the 1990s. Nothing has changed. This is just the way things are going to be for the foreseeable future. This is normal for us.

Pretty eerie, the videos taken from inside the classroom as this all unfolded.

Apparently it’s never the time. :whatever:
Seriously. People always say that. When is the time? By the time it's 'okay' to talk about it, there will have been four more shootings and they'll just say again that it's not the time to talk about it.

Thoughts to the victims and their families. :csad:

What is it the time for? Thoughts and prayers and doing absolutely nothing because “it’s not the time”? In a week there’ll be another one and it won’t be “the time” then either.

So you are saying that is an old cliché used by people to sweep the subject under the carpet?

So for folks who want gun control -- what kind do they propose?

National firearm licensing and registration, federal tax on ammo, limits on the quantity of firearms one person can posess and on military grade weaponry in civilian hands. Something more than thoughts and prayers for parents burying the bullet ridden corpses of their children.

Why the tax on ammo?

They can't shoot whatever they want then.

Yep. It's the ususal garbage argument used by people who put their stupid hobby above the lives of children.

What about military style weapons already in the hands of people?

I meant if they passed a law against the sale of military style weapons -- what to do about the tens of thousands already in the hands of people.

I don't know. It was a stupid decision back then. I don't know how a stupid decision back then means we shrug our shoulders and say "WHELP CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT NOW!"
