This show is one of the most compelling shows in TV right now IMO. It's just SO good and I love how we still can't trust any of their POVs.

Anyone else feel the show is on a mission to make Noah the most disgusting male TV character ever?! I HATE HIM SO MUCH.

Allison is OK but I feel like she plays the victim all the time.

I was thinking the baby might be her ex-husband's, but no way is it Scott's. That's just crazy.

I agree. My interpretation with Scott's "our baby" is the baby is a Lockhart's (Cole's). Didn't Scott see that Allison slept with Cole during that time she went back to Montauk? It's probably a big deal to him since they believe that there's a curse with the Lockhart kids.

I was rooting for Noah and Allison in S1, as i felt they had real chemistry but now...Noah is like his Dominic West's character in The Wire 'McNulty' - he destroys everything he touches. The daughter Whitney is becoming very annoying....

Somehow I knew he was going to bump into her there, after the ex wife being told they didn't know where she was going. I just thought maybe he would have caught her swimming nude in the pool, not where he ultimately did. Grody old man.

That would have tramutized me for life had i been in his shoes.

If i hadn't have seen Cole in the previews, i would have sworn he had committed suicide in the fire; although, in the previews you can't tell what point in the time-line things are taking place, so....

Interesting that this past ep didn't have the point of view angle to it....

Good season finale. Noah's not such a selfish dick after all. Protecting both of the women he loves.

Did i miss something? In Noah's POV Allison told him that their daughter was not his, but in Allison POV she did not...unless i missed it...(i dozed off during the wedding reception of Allison POV)

That's the trouble with two different interpretations of the same event -- Which is the one that really happened. Guess the truth is somewhere in between.

I do! It's still as compelling as it was during the start although I am disappointed in Cole lately. And yes, I agree with the Gunther guess. Seems like he's a projection of Noah's guilt over helping his mom with her suicide. At best, he could be real when Noah was in prison but the whole stalking thing after he came out was just a hallucination.

Showtime Renews ‘The Affair’ for Season 4

Showtime has picked up “The Affair” for a fourth season, network president and CEO David Nevins announced Monday afternoon at the TCA winter press tour in Pasadena. The news comes just a few weeks before the series’ Season 3 finale on Jan. 29.

Dominic West's acting (especially his facial expressions) have been great this season. Ruth Wilson, who I like in general, has been my least favorite part of this season.

As a parent myself, I still can't get over the hot tub scene from last season.

...acting is great but the characters are all so idiotic, insufferable, and boring.

I just don't know why I keep coming back.
