Production is underway in Tokyo on Regency Enterprises' SHUTTER, a psychological thriller starring Joshua Jackson ("Bobby"), Rachael Taylor ("Transformers"), David Denman ("The Office"), James Kyson Lee ("Heroes") and John Hensley ("Nip/Tuck").

Masayuki Ochiai directs from a screenplay by Luke Dawson, based on a 2004 Thai film. The story centers on a newly married couple who discover disturbing, ghostly images in photographs they develop after a tragic accident. Twentieth Century Fox will distribute SHUTTER.

Speaking of Pacey getting work. I know it's off topic, but whatever happen to Dawson?

Well, this comes out today, along with Meet the Browns and Drillbit. I've seen a few ads, but it's being overshadowed by Tyler Perry and Owen Wilson.

Meh - I saw the original Thai version, and it was OK, but nothing that special. I really don't see how this US remake is going to bring anything new to the tired Asian ghost girl genre.

Rachael Taylor's character delivered a wonderful *****slap to Jackson's character. :woot:

The original was ok. The only genuine scare was when they showed that ghost chick sitting on the guy's shoulders. Creeped me out.
