Skate demo is up on XBL

I just started downloading it. I'm looking forward to trying a non-Tony Hawk skating game, and the control scheme is just so unique, I'm excited to give it a go.

It's actually pretty cool. So refreshing to get away from the Tony Hawk games of yor. (Though I did love them) The controls take awhile to get used to, but it's so different that it's fun.

I'm addicted to this. It reminds me of way back when, when I loved THPS and played it like crazy. But it feels so much more natural than Tony Hawk. Definetly more realistic.

I'm not really a big fan of any skating games but this game is pretty cool. Every trick you land feels like an accomplishment where as in TH you can freakin skate on power lines. I'm glad to see a skating game that'll be based on some type of reality. My sister is a fan of the TH games and shes stoked for this, so ill prolly play it some when she picks it up.

Made my bro dl the demo on his 360, and it's so goddamn good. I think it's my favorite game I've ever played already. It's very realistic without being TOO realistic, and very very quick to pick up for me. Man I'm having such a blast, too bad I don't get to play it when i move off to college.

I got around to playing it. It's much more rooted than Tony Hawk, and much less forgiving in some instances, more forgiving in others. In all, I really hate the camera placement, and I don't like the controls for the most part. However, I like how it's more "realistic".

Not to say that I don't like Tony Hawk's insane skating, because that's good as well.
