Smallville reruns coming to TNT this fall

HDNet is starting from the beginning on October 10. So, those of you annoyed by TNT's decision can just change the channel.

HDNet is a HD only channel owned by Mark Cuban. On Wikipedia it's described as a mens intrest channel which I kinda get but don't compleatly agree with. They show reruns of Jag and Cheers, they have concerts on every sunday also. It's one of my favorite HD channels and will get more viewing from when when they put SV back on.

I was surprised myself that TNT started with season 8 but I wonder if that has to do with HDNet just showing S1-7. It's just nice to see SV on tv. I still haven't gotten over SV not being on this year. It was actually a little upsetting when I was checking the DVR and saw Supernatural but no SV. I guess reruns will have to do.

I guess I just think about the shows I watch and think theose aren't guy shows. But your right because there is more on HDNet that I don't watch than I do watch.

I do recalling awhile ago while going through cable guide we did have the ch in listing but I don't think we had it as one in the current package then or now to actually watch.

Season 8 wasn't that bad. Majority of it was good.

Season 8 was where everything changed. Clark finally matured, started to be assertive, to act like a grown man, and stand for himself instead of always fearing to express his opinion, or letting people step on his pride fearing he might hurt their feelings(Lana, Lex, etc.) I despised when stuff like this happened and the change was so visible in S8. Character development-wise S8 was integral to the show and started the Clark-maturity process that I longed for since the early seasons. Saying it's the worst season simply because of a bad finale, is a tired, stupid, ******ed, dumbass argument that only shows people's limited knowledge about the show. "Doomsday" can not take away all of the great things the season produced, mainly Clark Kent finally becoming who Clark Kent really is.

Ya for me only bad stuff was some of the lana episodes, and doomsday, and like two other late season episodes. Besides that season 8 was a good season.

To me Doomsday was no worse of a finale than Arctic was. Wasn't a big fan of Covenant either.

I think the season 6 finale sticks out as one of the most boring finales of the show. Season 7 finale was hyped up because it was Rosenbaum's last episode but the confrontation scene was just a few minutes long. I loved the season 3 finale. The montage ending with the opera music was beautifully done IMO. Overall, my favorite finales have been seasons 3, 4, and 10 (Finale part 2)

ya its nothing major i was just sitting there yesterday watching the episode which was the kara season 8 episode in the phantom zone and they got to like allison/aaron's credits and then the rest was not there and straight into the commericals.

It goes beyond the finale, Johnny. The second-half of the season was terrible. Once Lana came back, it ruined the season. Everything you said about Clark maturing only applies to the first half of the season. The second half was the return of the tired Lana-Clark romance, the pointless Chloe-Davis-Jimmy love triangle, and the big disappointment that ended up being Doomsday (the character). That's why I consider season 8 the most disappointing season. Everything came crashing down at the mid-point.

The Clark/Lana episodes and Chloe/Davis/Jimmy were hard to watch. However this was not the only thing that happened in the second half. The hunt for Doomsday arc was good and Legion is one of the best episodes of the show(regardless Lana being in it). The episode where Linda Lake came back and Clark had to go back in time to stop her from revealing his secret was also great. The second half as a whole was a disappointment compared to the first, but imo it's not something that is worth people telling it's the worst season ever. It isn't. And of course, this is completely debatable. I'm simply giving my two cents. I always felt S8 never deserved all the crap it got especially since it was responsible for revitalizing the show.

I wouldn't call season 8 the worst. That spot has always been reserved for season 1. Seasons 5, 6, and 9 were also quite terrible.

to me really the only bad parts of season 8 was the last two lana episodes(minus the lex/toyman bits those were good) and like two of the last few episodes about doomsday, then of course the crap they did with davis/the whole fake jimmy crap and the lack of actual fight with doomsday and clark.
