Okay Nate, the Kali Yuga has it's basis in the Hindu faith and is associated with the demon Kali, not the goddess Kali. It is the last in a cycle of ages in the Hindu world view. It's often referred to as the time of chaos, when all in the cosmos will be upturned and reversed in a way. It will be marked by strife and destruction. So... fun times all around.
