So, are they going to remake every damn Stephen King-movie now?

Well, I'm glad that It is being remade. I have no real attatchment to Pet Sematary nor Children of the Corn, so they don't bother me.

And The Shining mini series was good

I think his short story Breathing Method would make a good movie, if they need to comb the Stephen King well, there are plenty of things that haven't been done.

The only King movie remake Id like to see is Misery, cause I dont think Annie was as scary as she was in the books imo.She actually wasnt scary at all in the movie and the end wasnt as good as it was in the book either

Why the hell are they remaking his movies in the first place...he's got like thousands of books, and most of them are better than the ones that have been made movies...why the hell aren't they making those?

King seems to have trouble realizing there is a difference between pacing for books and movies. He should just let professionals make his movies, and quit *****ing when the movies aren't 100% accurate.

Thank you.

My thoughts exactly.

Enough with the remakes. King has some great short stories that would make great movies. The Mist and Everthings Eventual come to mind...

Even though I really didnt care for the way the book ended, I'm looking for to the big screen adaptation of Cell.

Whenever thats supposed to come out ...

isnt that the one being directed by eli roth?

Didn't they already make a movie out of it?

With Jennifer Lopez, Vince Vaughn and Vincent D'Onofrio?

That movie has nothing to do with King's novel.

Can't they make a Dark Tower mini-series instead of remaking things that have been done before?

Hell no! I do NOT want to see King's inability to translate his works to screen **** with one of the horror fantasies of all time.

Nope. The Cell I was referring to is a fairly recent King book about everyone in the world who was on a cellphone at a certain point in time going completely bonkers, and killing people similar to Dawn of the Dead. The main character is a guy who just got a contract with Dark Horse as an artist I believe, and is attempting to find his son in all of the madness. Fairly decent book actually, I just didnt really care for the way it ended. But you know hollywood. So no worries. ;)

If any King movie should be remade its "It". I've always like the origianal but its really outdated and was made for TV anyway.

Agreed, I'm suprised there has yet to be a bigger budget, theatrical release of It.
