so i went to my school reunion...

which is odd considering i only left last may. i always assumed(due to crappy american teen movies) this was a bad experience but i loved it. reminds me of how much i miss the people in my college. i really love all my year group and i welled up at the thought of never being all together again. i even realised my experience would never have been the same without the jackasses- so i'm grateful for them.

anyone else had a school reunion experience?

My highschool reunion was great. However, it was funny to see people still fall into their old groups(Jocks, cheerleaders, artistics, band, etc). Like we hadn't graduated and went out and did a ton of different things. Quite a few people got really drunk and said some really meaningful things. As if they had been holding onto them for those 10 years. The funniest thing to me was that I felt more for some of them that day, than I ever did when we went to school together.

It's really true that you don't appreciate things until they're gone.

I went to one highschool reunion.
It was a Christian school and I had just "re-committed my life to the Lord" after having an amazing prophetic dream and watching Aerosmith's video for "Livin' On The Edge" which seemed to be a harbinger of the End Times.

So I told all my teachers about how I'd been living in sin but was back on track and they were all so touched and happy. LOL

I brought my fiance at the time and that sucked because the sexual tension was blaring between myself and 3 girls where, we'd always liked eachother but never did anything about it in school or when one would get free the other would be with someone.

It was surreal. Alcohol helped.

I don't need to meet anyone from high school anymore

everyone used to take the piss out of me for being a sad geek and always tried to bring me down, till i wasa almost an emotional cripple... but in the years since school, ive learnt to have a lot more confidence in myself, and thanks 2 X-Men/Spiderman/the OC.. its actually cool to be a geek now

A month or so back I actually saw the girl who was the token hottest girl of the year out at a night club.. and she was just sooo ordinary, I was blatantly abover her league now
But I'm not one to laugh at people just because things change....






....i pulled her for Nostalgia's sake then never texted her again YaY

it's amazing, but people I knew since middle school or earlier, or some of my bestest buds from high school dont even really talk anymore. and its sad, but some people haven't changed a bit. but then, on the other side, some people haven't changed, and its a good thing.

so many ppl i know have kids now, or got married/divorced. its amazing

i do know that I'm bringing a pack of Uno cards with me.

senior year, me and a group of my friends would play Uno every lunch, and we'd have like 10 people playing. everyone always tried to get in the games and I remember someone bringing a pack to graduation and we always said if we go to a reunion, we'll get the gang together to play a hand.
