I agree...that scene just got a hundred times better with that...amazing how music can help a movie. That's one thing I didn't like about the movie...There was no transformers theme in there.... Some of the music seemed like retread of T2 music

There was a TF theme! It was played at multiple times in the movie. During the opening voiceover by Prime, when The Autobots arrive in the alley, and also at the end of the final battle when Prime is speaking to the humans.

there was a lot of original music in TF. you had the autobot theme,deception theme,prime,bumblbee,.....
tons of new music.

Watching this again, I can kinda see why Bay and co weren't too keen on providing Welker's original voice to the Megatron we saw in the film. The original voice wouldn't match up as well, IMO.

I can too actually, Welkers voice was great for the cartoon, but for me, for the lead badguy/ass of the movie, and more authorative, evil, and less meak voice was needed.

Hopefully Welker will get to voice Soundwave.
