Heh, found something funny on Gordon Jones imdb page.

"Big, beefy character actor best known as Brit Reid/The Green Hornet in Universal's "Green Hornet" film serials and Mike the Cop, Lou Costello's nemesis, on "The Abbott and Costello Show" (1952)."

green-1.jpg

"Usually portrayed good-natured but rather dim-witted louts."

Eh. Spot on casting? :yay:

And thats Britt Reid and Kato, as played by Jones and Keye Luke as Kato in the 1940 serial, in the garage, enthusiasticly at work on the Black Beauty.

:yay:

Yeah, I have the serial. Gordon Jones is good as Britt Reid, though radio Hornet Al Hodge dubbed the voice of the masked Green Hornet.

Ah ok, i haven't got it yet. Thinking about ordering it online.
I love serials but the market for these old classics is pretty thin over here.
Maybe they will release them here when the movie comes out. :)

I found Radar men from the moon (w commando cody) in a sfi fi shop
when Sw2 was released in Sweden. That was pretty good.

Impressive fx for it's time.

There are a couple of dudes on imdb who absolutely hate the idea of seth rogen being cast as Britt Reid. Where is the above source again? I have to link it and shut that guy up. Every post there is his effort to shut the movie down because of Rogen in the lead.

Yeah, ok see next post. I was gonna edit this one but made a new one, sorry.

You mean the Gordon jones bio?: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0428160/bio
Oh, and forget them guys. They seem to be delusional.

One of them used ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND as "proof" that Gondry as director was wrong somehow.
That he "couldn't make a block-buster", something like that.
Who is that guy? A studio executive?

Anyway, give them the info from box office mojo on that movie.
Production Budget: $20 million
Domestic gross: $34,400,301

He failed to mention the foreign market though:
Foreign gross $37,857,825

Which means that the Worldwide gross so far is:

$72,258,126

With a production budget of around 20 mil that's not a commercial flop.

Oh and i found an interview on youtube with Kevin Smith. He says some nice things about Seth. I agree that Seth can do dramatic stuff.
Come on, Freaks & Geeks anyone? He was good in that show. And it had drama as well.

I used to watch that when it was on, like ten years ago. Time flies... If anyone doubts Seths acting abilities, check that show out out. Plenty of clips on Youtube.

Only movie i had seen with Rogen was Pineapple Express. Rented it because it looked like fun. It was.

Otherwise i know next to nothing about his film career. Love smith's stuff though. Im gonna go rent that Zach & Miri movie. Looks hilarious. "There's poo in there..." Heh.
