Barry Sonnenfeld ("Men in Black," "The Addams Family") is in negotiations to direct the supernatural action adventure flick "The Box" for 20th Century Fox.
Evan Spiliotopoulos is penning the screenplay, a contemporary take on the myth of Pandora's box says The Hollywood Reporter.
"Box" centers on a college grad with an uncertain future who is tricked into opening the mythical box, unwittingly unleashing the evils trapped within.
He then must team with Pandora to save the world from destruction. The project, described as a big event film, is being fast-tracked
