GameSpot's Review:

Rating: 7.0 - Good

The Good
* Action is stylish, easy to pick up
* Great cast of characters supported by some solid voice acting
* Doesn't take itself so seriously
* Lets you play as some of Spidey's greatest enemies.

The Bad
* Not much enemy variety
* Sidekicks not as much fun to play as Spidey
* Incredibly easy.

The score is the same for Wii and 360.

However, there is no mention of the extra character...which I believe is the symbiote suited Spidey (known in the game as Black Suit Spider-Man).

Wii has minimal frame-rate issues, a little fuzzy graphics, but it's overall the exact same game on 360/PC/PS2.

PC pretty much penalizes you if you use the keyboard, so a gamepad is recommended (by GameSpot anyway). They did notice the 360's controller works well for PC.

360's version is pretty much the PC (since PC is ported from 360). The 1,000 Achievement points are easy.

The game itself is just under six hours long (hey, at least it's 1 hour longer than Spider-Man 3 for PS2/Wii/PSP).

Still, I call this game a success and it at least a step up from SM3...on any platform. The only other recent Spider-Man game that beats this hands down is Spider-Man 2, in my opinion. Even GS only gave that game a 6.6 on PS3/360 and 6.3 on PC...that's a Fair.

If anything, I wish the game was at least 10 hours or something, but maybe next time.

hey i just got the game yesterday, i must be pretty far in to the game as i have only two more characters to collect, blade and venom, im on the second level of transelvania and have collected most of the dna's. this game is really fun, i especially love the cutscenes with the computer, they are halarious.. this game is very well made, it is best in short bursts as it can get boring if you play more then say 4 levels at a time.. but so far its really good, and the whole character roster is filled up now with blad and venom next so im assumeing black suit spiderman is the secret character in the game, im playing the 360 version... by the way i really like the vs mode, reminds me of like marvel nemisies or something .. its well done, good game overall.. and co- op is really fun.. thought this would be a kids game, and maybe it is but its pretty damn fun in short bursts.. i really love the tag team moves, they are all kool. thats pretty much it for now i'll post a full review when i beat the game, probably tomorrow lol.

Unlock Venom and new Green Goblin

Venom and new Green Goblin (from the movie) can be unlocked by entering the following codes using the D-Pad when standing in the Helicarrier in between levels. You should hear a tone indicating you entered the code correctly and they will then be selectable from the sidekick select console.

no no its two player only, kinda sucks but its a pretty kool extra.. so whats everybodys team up preference? mine is venom and spiderman or rhino and spiderman.. update i got all the characters and beat venom and im on the last level..

I just beat Rhino. So far my favorite team-up would be Spidey and New Goblin.

project carnage eh? lol nice.. i just beat the game, the ending was pretty damn short tho.. now im gonna grab the 3 or 4 dnas i didnt get and then thats pretty much it.. its a good little game.. spiderman gets the black suit during the actual game so i have no idea who the secret character could be, gg2 is on ps2 as well.. anyways anybody know what you unlock if you colect everything in the game?

not really you get most of them just playing thru.. then you can always go back and get the ones u missed.. some of the dnas are a bit hard to find tho but im sure if you look hard enuff and destroy everything u will find them..
