Ummm, yeah. No one is arguing that it isn't a prop. Everything can be a prop. What the discussion was about was whether it was an original production prop or a replica. It turned out to be a replica.

Actually no it's not. It was never a web shooter. The device was a web flow device. It merely controlled the flow. Peter's webbing was always going to be organic, going back to the Cameron script. The organics was the one thing Raimi kept from that.
