I could be mistaken, but I think it was made by a company that makes music specifically for trailers and such. We saw a press release or something from that company just before the teaser came out that said they had done the music for it.

i was also hoping it was music from the movie because it would be awesome if it played that music(when the trailer pulls back reveiling spideys new look) when eddie first turns to venom(only a longer version)
another cool song for the credits or somthign would be "painted black" by the rolling stones

THe original score is just too good... as for new themes... got no idea...

i have the same opinion, love the original music but they need sandman and venom themes...maybe gg2 but i will destroy sony if they dont use the gg1 theme

The SM3 tease HAD to have the theme in it somewhere! That's my only complaint on the teaser... That music over the opening spidey-suit graphics was cheese.

But check out the SM2 teaser...the theme song was perfectly placed. Great for continuity...it shows that Spidey's back!

Im looking forward to hearing the score without elfman actually.....his main theme was cool but man was the rest of the music dull. I like the epic-ness of the trailer music with the choirs and such......but whats wrong with a bit of hard rock during the fight scenes eh? .....

everything...i good movie (expecially an action movie) would SUCK if it had any kind of other music besides orc. it just adds more character, and i will admit, i find myself listening to orcistrated theme songs and such after listening to led zeppelin :P

The songs are so over-used it wouldn't suprise me. Actually it would just because I do not think Sam Raimi would stoop that low.
