Watching it now...I love President Bush. I've met him in person when he came to my church after KATRINA wiped thru Louisiana...He's a good Christian man that has to make some incredibly hard decisions. Forescene Consequences are always a down fall to any war...It's tough but Freedom isn't Free! Gotta fight for what is right!

If you say he's a servant of God, he is also a servant of the people of the United States. Is God overruling the will of the people, if the people are decidedly against war?

It wasn't what he was saying, he's just so monotoned. BTW he didn't make good points, the democratic staffers that wrote the speech made good points.

I loved watching the audience. McCain was clearly asleep, and I wouldn't be surprised if Obama (he was facing down whenever the camera panned over him) was playing hangman with the people next to him.

I love to watch this speech just to watch the people in the crowd. Cheney looked like he had a kidney stone (which may or may not be his "happy face"), Pelosi had one small little bunch of hair near her eye that just bothered the heck out of me. So many people had those fake smiles plastered on their faces, all the while looking like they were sucking lemons.

I wasn't going to, but decided I might as well at the last minute. It was pretty good considering it was a Bush speech, but most of it was promises that are either to vague or unable to kept that just sound good on paper.

I saw the OP name (whom I'd never seen before) was an administrator and looked at the details. 7 years old, and it read like people were hoping for an assassination to happen.

And this most definitely should be in the Political forum. It reads exactly like that kind of political drivel I avoid going in there for in the first place.
