What looks amazing about this film is that it looks like it will be about more than the birdwatching, but will be a personal journey for these guys. And while we've seen this sort of thing countless times before in the past few years, and most of these efforts were failures, this is the sort of story these three actors are at their best with. And while Wilson and Black don't have the pedigree that Martin has with comedy, they are good actors. Black was great in King Kong, and any movie by Wes Anderson with Wilson will prove Wilson has some serious chops.
And from what I've seen, it looks like Jack's character is much quieter and toned down than he usually is, which is a huge benefit in his favor.
