Stories of Redemption in Anime

i recently saw this video on youtube

And it reminded me of Vegita's story. A tragic story that starts with him as a villain but ends with him as a hero. I think it's one of the best stories of redemption i've ever seen in Anime, but really it's likely that way because it's the only one.

After being reminded how great vegita's, piccolos, probably other's stories of redemption (a theme of dbz it seems) i'm interested in others. What other stories out there can rival, perhaps even top the grand story of Vegita, prince of the sayan race.

oh and Vegita owns everyone except goku in a battle, superman all of them nothing to vegita. Just making that clear.

Yeah he did do some serious changes. Its really strange to see how evil he was before though. He would have killed billions and now he is saving billions.
