World Superman 2: The Untold Story

You made Donner the jerk and Llya Salkind the good guy, you suck!

Way to make a guy that three film crews have called a thief into a hero. And the guy one film crew called a hero into the bad guy. Donner...go kick their asses. I do like when Lois held up the pic and went "get your paws off of me you damn dirty ape"

haha --- i thought that'd piss some people off

because its not what anyone else would of done

Donner! Hand him a tall frosty mug of Whoop Ass!

The ending was the only halfway funny part to me.

"I'm not a tomboy, I'm sexy..."

you have seen the movie 'Goonies' right? you do know Donner directed that, right? And you do know what movies Marlon Brando has and has not been in, right? Oh well.... i guess it's just sailing over people's heads.

I don't think it's going over people's heads. I just think those parts weren't funny.

Real humor is the hardest thing to create, ask any talented performer or director. Don't ask these people. That was truly the most humorless and obnoxious piece of crap I have seen in some time.

Making fun of people is great, and there is no foul in making fun of Donner in jest, this was just not funny. It's the Hudson Hawk of YouTube videos.

well, at least now i know that MattHopper (lover of scrubs) is the roger ebert of the internet. Everybody refer to him if you want to know if somethings funny, alright?

The problem is that is so bereft of humor it's just uncomfortable. It's weird, often when something tries to be funny and it's not, it's sometimes funny in and of itself.

I guess in this case it's the combination of the "actors" the delivery and the script that make a perfect storm of absolute flatline. I don't think I've ever seen a production, in which obviously there was an nice effort, where nothing at all works on any level.

The biggest problem is that you seem like a good guy. I don't like criticizing good guys and their work. I usually just keep my mouth shut. In this case, I couldn't. However, that said, you take criticism with real class. Unlike most people who would just get defensive or use personal insults. It's funny, you return the criticism with great jabs of humor.

....which is ironic since there is no humor in the film.

Finally... someone had the guts to tell the story the way it really was. I mean, did you people even watch the donner cut of superman II? I bet if he had directed superman III, he would have had superman turn back time yet again so that richard prior would've never set himself on fire while free-basing. The man ruined superman, and then took a perfectly good Michael Crichton novel and turned it into the **** that was Timeline. Donner is overrated, and it's about time that someone else realized it. That was one of the best fan films I've ever seen.

The only reason he had the turning back time in Superman II again is because they never got the chance to film a different ending.

Is that you Richard Lester?

...or just a recently lobotomized grade schooler.

If I were Richard Lester, I'd be totally stoked that the donner cut was released so everybody could see what a piece of crap it was, and how I somewhat polished that turd. I enjoyed the fact that this fanfilm was about Superman without having some queerbo prancing around in the costume. I know you guys would love to see that, but I have more respect for the source material.
