Arc 1 deals with Eggward coming into his own as a superhero in the nation of Indo-China, for years he has worked on a super-power formula with his now estranged friend Walton. He foils a revenge-heist by the legendary Green Thief. Soon after, he is contacted by the government of Rodenttown, a neighboring nation.
A team is formed, the Fifth Brigade, under the leadership of Eggward. Little does he know that this is merely a ruse to assassinate him and bring Indo-China's secret police/intelligence agencies back into full control of law enforcment.
The team adventures for a few months, foiling various terror attacks and fighting against the rogue nation of Tibet. A war breaks out between Indo-China and Rodenttown, and the afforementioned nation. Eggward's crusade against crime becomes personal when his father, the King-Mayor is killed by revolutionary terrorists and he is forced to become King-Mayor of Monkeytown.
Arc 2 begins with the seeming death of Eggward after rescuing a hijacked plane. Another mysterious Supermonkey appears, followed by another. Monkeytown is thrown into chaos for over a year as anarchy erupts. Killing sprees are committed by a villain known only as the Deathonator.
The number of Supermonkeys rises to five and a full-blown Battle of the Supermonkeys eventually breaks out between the five people claiming the title, Walton Smartingworth, Eggward's old friend, now superpowered and going under the name Evil Monkey, and Eggward's old friend and teammate, the female squirrel Nutsy McBeaver. This is eventually resolved when the newest claimant to the mantle of Supermonkey is revealed to be Eggward.
Eggward and his new girlfriend and former teammate Kiki move to the Arabian Desert. Eggward, a long time scientist, studies the odd radiation readings in the area, and a mysterious visitor from the future arrives, asking them to follow him to help overthrow a tyrannical alien Emperor who's lust for power has reached earth.
And thats only the first 80+ issues, with a lot of extraneous stuff left out. I have one-paragraph descriptions for over 400 issues. I need an artist for the first two issues to begin with, if you wish to stay on, you can.
I fully intend to publish this one day, but that's not for a long time and not neccessarily with the same artist. Right now I just want to produce a good book, hopefully on a pretty reliable schedule. I have 400 issues planned out, so this could go on for as long as I have an artist.
I will post issue-by-issue descriptions in a couple weeks.
PM me if you're interested.
