Meet the Pairs

CBS: "Hey, remember that Amazing Race pair that was so ****ing annoying they made Brendan and Rachel, of all people, seem tolerable by comparison? Let's put them on Survivor!"

Banner year, CBS. :o

John Rocker? Will he display the inner racist bigot he showed when he was playing?

OMG. Not the AR twins! NOOOOO.... :argh:

When I skimmed your post, all I saw was Brendan and Rachel and hoped they'd be contestants. You could've knocked me over with a feather when I realized the Amazing Race team was the Twinnies. This could be a delightful trainwreck.

What's CBS's obsession with casting washed up athletes? Do they really bring in higher ratings?

Wait till he's cold, hungry, wet, bugbitten, and frustrated with his fellow castaways. Then I'm sure it will.

I'm completely convinced I just flipped through a promo for The Amazing Race. Also, that first couple is definitely blood related.

That will be classic TV and I do hope if that happens he gets what he deserves: a punch on the face followed by a kick in the groin.

If they on separate tribes it won't be so bad. I am happily surprised though when I heard blood vs water 2, I assumed they would bring back former contestants(personally I think reality shows generally are better with 100% new casts with the occasional All Star edition)

John Rocker? Oh dear. Lol.

As soon as his tribe goes to vote, he'll be booted off first.

What's the story with this guy? Is he, like, Paula Deen-bad or Westboro Baptist Church/KKK-bad?

Jeesh, what a prick...

The Tweenies will be interesting to watch. They were eliminated first in The Amazing Race All-Stars and I loled. I wonder if they are gonna be loud again.

I'm looking forward to Val, she reminds me of the star of Survivor: Fiji - Cassandra Franklin. I hope she goes far and Drew is hot!

I think he can keep his mouth shut long enough to survive at least one vote. Bank on one of the Twinnies being the first to go.

Good news for the Twinnies: only one of them can go first.

This seems like it will be a good season, seems like there are plenty of people out there who came to play :)

Surprisingly, I like everyone in the cast so far. Even Rocker was quite bearable.

The fireman son in the father/son pair kind of annoyed me. Other than that there wasn't anyone who bothered me, at least after the twinees were separated, they really are a lot less annoying individually than together :)

Wow, this thread died hard.

Pretty good season so far. I was rooting for Jeremy & Josh, but now they're both out.

Yeah, shame both that this thread died out and that those two got voted out.

That blindside of Jeremy was epic, I didn't see it coming at all :)

So far this has been a very good season. I definitely prefer Blood vs water when it's all new players.

I hope that the other five players wake up now and turn on the 2x2 alliance.

Even though they both seemed like good guys, I'm glad both Jeremy and Josh are gone. I'm tired of alpha males dominating the game all the way through. There are other ways to win Survivor.

I wouldn't describe Josh as an "alpha male", he was just a really good strategic player and a good social player. Jeremy on the other hand definitely had an alpha male personality.

Damn, I was really hoping that Reed and co would pull it off and get rid of John.

Noble of Wes to refuse the idol, he must have known that he would be going home when he turned it down.
