Does anyone else watch this show?Les Stroud strands himself in various parts of the world with bare essentials and has to not only surive,but to film the events he is in.

I have watched a few times. In fact I have a few waiting on me on the TIVO menu. I think it is pretty cool. Course I watch pretty much anything that Stimulates the old Nugg.

Actually,im wondering if new episodes are going to be made.I watch the show when ever its on,its key to know those kinds of things to surive.

I think it's a bit absurd. There are people living that way day to day, not just until they can escape. I do learn some things from the show, but nothing I can use in training myself in primitive ways, since most of the things he suggests have to do with escape and short-term survival.

Then you miss the point of the show entirely


This is an awesome show. I don't believe they're making new episodes sadly, but he does have surviving urban disasters but no idea when the second episode will eventually air

I just checked around,and discovered this information on Wikipedia...

A new season of Survivorman is set to air in February 2007 and filming has begun. Ecuador is one of the locations.

Im personally looking foreward to this,what are some people`s thoughts?

I wonder where Les is going to be?I hope there will be survival episodes where he is pushed to the brink.Action?I can imagine there will be..

I don't know, how good is he with stunts exactly? I don't recall him pushing it to the limit when it came to stunts, maybe that'll change with the new season.

Man vs Bear is a ripoff and it sucks.....well it doesn't suck, but it aint the same ....he has a camera crew

Man V.S. Hotel is for the ADD generation. Survivorman is for anyone else that has patience.
