Exclusive: The Poster for Takers

Source:Screen Gems
September 10, 2009

ComingSoon.net has your exclusive first look at the poster for Screen Gems' Takers, opening in theaters on February 19, 2010.

The film, directed by John Luessenhop, revolves around a notorious group of criminals (Idris Elba, Paul Walker, T.I., Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen and Michael Ealy) who continue to baffle police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies. They are in and out like clockwork, leaving no evidence behind and laying low in between heists. But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find their plans interrupted by a hardened detective (Matt Dillon) who is hell-bent on solving the case.

The dodgy head work on Paul Walker is especially amusing. :hehe:

all 3 heads in the front are wrong. i hope someone did this in a rush for free.

This movie already sucks just because of the fact that little ***** Chris Brown is in this, also doesn't help that Hayden Christensen can't act either.

A better idea for the poster would be if they photoshopped the heads on different bodies.

Hayden looks photoshopped in completely....walker's neck is black:huh:

one of the worst photoshop jobs i have ever seen.....

that cast is a freakin joke.. omg terrible.

Paul Walker looks like a bobble head
Did they really take the time to look over this poster before releasing it?

I wonder if T.I. will be able to promote the movie seeing as how he's currently incarcerated in jail.

Hahaha. First time I've literally lol'd at a movie poster. This has to be the worst ensemble cast ever assembled for a film.

I guess they tried to make it look like Paul Walker was wearing a turtle neck under his suit.

The trailer shows Zoe Saldana, yet her name isn't mentioned at all in the credits. She's going to be A-List soon (or close to it) if Avatar becomes a huge box office success (that remains to be seen).

Matt Dillion is underrated as an actor, IMO. He was really good in Crash and hilarious in "There's Something about Mary."

Just watched the trailer, it's like "what if Heat was made by MTV and had a horrible cast and dialog."

It also doesn't help the movie's case that two of the main stars of the film have legal problems. T.I. is currently serving a one year prison term for felony weapons charges. And most of us know all about Chris Brown's recent legal troubles.

The trailer woud have been better if Chris Brown had missed.

Indeed. And damn that photoshop is horrible.

Dillon's voice seems to be getting raspier and raspier.

the poster looks awful. Paul Walker's head is floating away from his body.
