Superman Returns Tarantino Writing 20-Page Review

Ever heard of a college thesis?

Plus, as a filmmaker, QT could see and talk about a lot of things we would have no clue about or just fail to see when watching SR. 20 pages doesnt seem absurd to me.

I think it would be an interesting read

Exactly. I think SR was a great character study of the most powerful man on Earth (or even in the galaxy). I think there is a lot in the movie to talk about: the themes explored, imagery, subtext, archetypes, etc. It is a fascinating and complex movie; that's probably one reason why some didn't get it or like it, and WHY a filmmaker likeTarantino found it so interesting.

It definitely is a different type of superhero movie. It's very intelectual, imo, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

That would be great if they got Tarantino to do an audio commentary for the movie.

Agreed.

Agreed.

Not just that but the fact that QT makes films he might see things like camera angles, the way the music is used at certain points, or certain other film techniques in the movie that we just dont know or would think about. 20 Pages doesn't seem far fetched.

Even if it was a 20 page review about why he didnt like SR, it would still be worth the read

Very much looking forward to this. Hope he publishes it somewhere. Would love to read it.

Awesome to know Tarantino loved SR, and I very much look forward to reading his review of it.

Yeah definitely. I was watching those Tarantino reviews for sky movie like four days ago. Good catch Dark b.

It's very very intriguing what he thinks. Considering he can be a tough and cut throat dispenser of opinion, it's interesting he thinks so highly of this very polarizing movie.

Hope some intrepid reporters get some info out of him or he posts his review online.
