Teleporting Fun

Hey everyone, been gone for a while. Working on Real Steel and a couple other projects. Real Steel is gonna kick ass btw.

I made this for fun, thought I'd share it with you guys!

I'm planning on using it on a short film soon. Enjoy:

Its not without its flaws, but man it looks cool.

Shot on a Canon T2i. Lowest ISO possible, with the highest shutter speed light would permit, and 60FPS.

Edited in Adobe Premiere and After Effects.

It's very cool for a test... just one more thing I have say (I know you're probably going to do this anyways but) if you could, change the teleportation sound to something else. Or just make it a little more subtle.

Oh yeah, absolutely. It will vary, depending on the environment and the speed its happening in. A very cool effect I'm working on for the short is what I'm calling the "reveal" teleport effect.

Which, in theory, should show the teleportation happening at 1000FPS (extremely slow-mo).

Seeing the positive response to the effect is awesome. I needed feedback, you guys rock.

Definitely going to use it in the short. But I don't plan to over use it. It'll likely be saved for a big sequence.
