I'm guessing that the Decepticons that most autobots kill could be The Dreads.

The Dreads, a group of Decepticon clones that turn into Chevrolet Suburban emergency vehicles.

Like something similar to what they did with the drones in Transformers: Prime although I hope I'm wrong since there's a few "famous" Decepticons in the movie.

It's still possible for a few of them but I'm thinking if they take the same alt mode as the previous Constructicons like Bonecrusher but then they are just limit to small background characters that are just going to be killed by Autobots.

I'm glad Hot Rod's not in this movie. He represented everything that ruined G1 for me:

1)He got Prime killed

2)He was a terrible leader as Rodimus

3)The entire season after the 1986 movie featuring him was horrible on many levels......

If Hot Rod came and was great from the start it would be as if Prime never left. The whole point of Prime's death was to sell more toys and to get new characters on the show. Lets not forget that Prime had millenia to become the leader he is. I enjoyed seeing Rodimus grow into a great leader under the guidance of Magnus and Sentinel.

To me Rodimus is a lot like Dick Grayson as Batman. I really enjoy watching him prove himself as the new guy, although the original is always better.

Therefore i wouldnt mind a movie or two with Rodimus as long as Prime eventually comes back. Problem is they already overdid it with Prime and Megatron dying and then coming back so a death right now wouldnt mean much. They ruined it.

So few Decepticons. I hope the final tally will be bigger.

There will probably be countless of them, but they ll just be nameless ugly robots for the Autobots to slay.

is this an official list? The toys just came out, and i only collect the movie figures. I'd hate to buy any characters that don't appear in the film, and they released a lot of characters in toy form that weren't in the movie with the last two movies. However, the trailers showed most of the characters, so i knew who to buy. This time the trailer doesnt seem to show many.

Yeah all those characters are in the film. Mirage, Wheeljack,The Wreckers (Leadfoot,Roadbuster,Top Spin), Sentinel Prime, Brains, Shockwave,Dreads (Hatchet, Crowbar, Crankcase), Payload, Driller and Laser Beak are all new. Thats gonna be alot of money for new figures haha.


Hmmm Taking away Brains and Wheelie, its actually pretty even between main Decepticons and autobots. Looking forward to SideSwipe and Mirage kicking alot of ass.

Hopefully all these characters get more screen time then Sidesways received. First time i saw it i complained to my gf how it was silly we never saw his robot form... She argued n said we did... it was one of those u blink u miss it type of moments.
