However, this isn't big news, cause this isn't uncommon over there.

The people of Thailand are all too familiar with coups. There have been at least 18 actual and attempted military takeovers since Thailand became a constitutional monarchy in 1932.

It's honestly not my cup of tea either but I gotta do what the mods tell me. Not too many news stories slip by me and I think I have a wide enough variety of threads to encompass most things. Now all we need is people to actually discuss things in them. I know it's kind of pain in the butt since it can be hard to figure out what someone is talking about if they aren't quoting and there are more than one conversations going on but like I said, I gotta abide by the mods rules

18 attempted or successful since 1932 is not yearly but it's frequent enough. That's roughly every 4.5 years.
