Take my opinion for whatever it's worth (I'm not a fan of any music per say) but Madonna sticks out like a sore thumb on this list. She's one of the highest selling, most recognizable artists ever. I couldn't pick most of the people on this list out of a police lineup but even a non-music fan like me knows how long Madonna has been cranking out hits.

While I admit that I haven't been overly impressed with their output as a whole this decade, to have U2 on a list of one of the worst artists of any decades (and especially ahead of Brooke Hogan, among others), automatically kills the writer's credibility as a journalist, and possibly as a human.

Putting Madonna on the list is also questionable. Again, she's another artist whose output I haven't been too impressed with this decade, but she's a legend who's sustained herself well enough.

This coming from the same site that listed Ryan Reynolds playing Deadpool as one of the 20 worst comic book character adaptations.

It did? Wow they ARE idiots. I bet they would of though Dane Cook would of been better

They're only saying of this decade, and I'm sure they're not counting anything from before that. U2 has sucked for a while now, and Madonna hasn't done anything good since that Bond song she did.

Well said. :applaud

Their new album isn't my favorite, but "All That You Can't Leave Behind" (which is arguably one of their best albums) and "How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb" are far better than the 2 albums before it. Their tours this decade have dropped the insanely over-the-top theatrics of the tours they did in the 90s, and they're a vast improvement.

Same goes for Britney and U2. Some of those are dead-on, though.

i have no problems with this list. it could use some kate perry though.

Why isn't Nickelback on that list?

They are spot-on with their #1, but there is no way that U2 belongs on that list.

1 is spot on. Flo Rida should be on this list as well and probably Lil Wayne.

U2 should so not be on this list. They have been hit and miss this decade. I think they've produced some good stuff and that is bull **** that they are on there.

No William Hung?

Lil' Wayne is a damn good choice. How did I miss that one - or more importantly - the *****e who put this list together?

the sad thing is... well ALL listened to Limp Bizket in 1999 and 2000..... you all did... even if you deny it, 3 Dollar Bill Ya'll was in your CD player

I listen to almost all those artists. The people who write these lists ae idiots. They need to just change the title and layouts of these countdowns/lists.

The 20 Worst Artists of the Decade (2000-2009)
1.) Anyone that is popular

2.) Everyone.... so ignore 1

music taste is relative.... to call some band the worst, when it most likely is thousands of people's favorite, is just dumb....

These albums are better than their "Actung Baby" era, but they still can't compare to their classic albums like The Unforgettable Fire, War, and Joshua Tree, though.

Agreed. Apply to everything else in the world as well.

This is very true, but listen to their music now and, well, you kinda want to pencil trick yourself for liking it.

They'll never repeat that, but compared to their late 90s stuff like Pop and Zooropa, their stuff this decade has been so much better. Just doesn't make sense to call them one of the worst of the decade.

I saw them in concert two weeks ago, they were amazing. They actually broke the Giants Stadium attendance record with nearly 85,000 people...so I don't think too many people are listening to that list.

yeah, I think ther's only like one song I still like by them.... otherwise it's like "wow, can't beleive I used to listen to this ALL the time"
