I don't know how they left out Cmdr. Rourke's death in Atlantis. On a balloon fighting Milo, he gets cut with a piece of that crystal, and slowly but obviously painfully turns into a ****in' crystal himself. But then, comes back to life screeching like one of the body snatchers, only to explode afterwards. That **** scared the hell out of me and I was grown.

That was hilarious.

I found myself laughing a lot throughout the whole article. But they forgot to include every single character death in Atlantis, though I suppose that movie was geared more towards older kids than the younger ones.

Those deaths aren't half as bad as how some of the characters died in the original fairy tales. For instance, in Cinderella the stepsisters have their eyes plucked out by birds, and in the Little Mermaid Ariel doesn't loose her voice. Instead she always feels as if she is walking on hot coals and swords on land, which drives her insane and eventually makes her commit suicide by walking back into the ocean and turning into seafoam. Gruesome stuff

Yikes.

But Gaston was never impaled. He just fell to his doom.

Clayton's demise, for all it's subtlety was chilling.

And yeah, Rourke got dissed.

Awesome list! Clayton's death was defintely creepy...I'm surprised Hopper or Rourke didn't make that list.

The Clayton death disturbed me when i 1st saw it, i was in shock because this was a disney film, i love Tarzan!

damn , i shouldn't of watched all these disturbing disney movies as a kid.

I've never really understood how Clayton's death made it past the censors. Off-screen's one thing, but we clearly see his hung body's silhouette. Still, Frollo's death is a pretty good blast from the past. I remember The Hunchback of Notre Dame being darker than other Disney films, but I must have forgotten how horrible his death really was.

Fun fact: Frollo's voiced by Tony Jay. He voiced characters such as Megabyte in ReBoot and the Elder God in the Legacy of Kain video games before his death in 2006.

Frollo's death is really disturbing. Specially when the Gargoyle smiles before cracking and sending him to the ground. I always taught that was a demon and he was being punished by his sin. Does anyone else agree?

Frollo's death really shows how Conservative Disney is!

Yeah, the old school Disney movies were ridiculously dark and just plain scary.

I literally just got done watching The Hunchback of Notre Dame... :p

Geez, how can I not remember these deaths? Literally the only one I vaguely remembered was Syndrome's from The Incredibles, and his was funny mainly because of the play on the whole ''NO CAPES!" thing.

I'm surprised Hopper from A Bugs Life wasn't on that list, but Syndrome is. That death scared the crap out of me when I was a kid.

Ah great old violence. Scar's was always a little disturbing as was Gaston's and the one in Tarzan.

I miss the REAL Disney movies.
