The Arrow's Tip: Official Thread

It amazes me how stupid CW is. This the third non-GA series they have put Justin in, 2 didn't work out, I bet this won't either. Green Arrow has a fan base, why not use it? They should create a series based on the Justice episode. How are they blind to the obvious?

"How to Ruin Our Own Network" by The CW:

- Cancel Everwood, a critically acclaimed show
- Renew 7th Heaven, a dead show
- Trash Aquaman
- Air Runaway, then promptly cancel it because we realize it's terrible
- Cancel Veronica Mars, a critically acclaimed show
- Promote the hell out of Gossip Girl, America's Next Top Model, and other assorted dreck
- DON'T promote our top dramas like Smallville and Supernatural
- DON'T produce superhero spin-offs with serious ratings potential
- DO produce more reality shows featuring talentless girl groups searching for even more talentless girls to join said girl groups. Genius! Air it NOW!

I'm still pissed that Everwood was cancelled. That was a solid show.

well the wb has a history of screwing shows over (i'm looking at you Angel and Buffy) and the cw is no different

Here's a manip I made from two promo shots of Justin -
one from 'Aquaman' and one of Green Arrow.

Latino Review has a script review for SuperMax. I can't believe they're actually going forward with this. I thought it was, at best, a joke:

It should also be noted that the description of GA's look sounds a lot like GoughLar's take on the character. Maybe Justin should consider starring in the flick:

So what does the cinematic Green Arrow look like? The Green Arrow wears a tight green leather suit, quivers attached to his ankles and thighs, and a giant COMPOUND BOW running across his back. His face is concealed by a dark hood.

That sounds... awesome, to me. :)

I hope they follow through with it. I'm afraid Justin will be trumped big time if Matt Damon is truly interested in this.

I notice that along with David Goyer, Justin Marks is listed as a writer. He's the same guy who wrote the new Chun Li -Street Fighter movie that just wrapped. I never heard of him before, but I liked what he had to say about that movie. I'll post it in the KK thread if it hasn't already been posted. I haven't been keeping up very well with things here lately.

When they were the WB(because who took UPN seriously), they cancelled Angel when it was one of there best shows, both story wise and in the ratings. I'm still mad about that four years later. Looks like that loser attitude carried over.

Marks is one of H-wood’s latest it-boy screenwriters. He’s been tapped to write some other fanboy-heavy movies like He-Man and Voltron.

Are you talking about the interview he did with Joblo? He did have some nice things to say about Kristin in that.

I've been feeling a bit starved of green arrow recently. It seems like both he and tess have drifted away from the story

[blackout]He's in the next episode.[/blackout].

I love the red tie on CK. Pretty cool promo and Durance looks hoooot.

this cover reminds me of the world finest movie and Smallville
