Probably because NY was the first major metropolitan/industrial city in America.
Soo it makes sense that that's where it originated.
The fact that you gloat about it is a little strange. Like any of us had any control over founding America way back in the 1800s.

Have you honestly even eaten Chicago deep dish pizza? REAL Chicago pizza, Lou Malnati's, Giordanos, Gino's East? None of that frozen mass produced bull****. Obviously not all Chicago pizza is good, but pizza from those 3 places are freaking amazing. And I know my food

I was in Chicago last year.... briefly... and the only food I did eat was a Billy Goat Burger below Madison...

If I'm ever around there... I'll go to Lou's....

I got giordano's one time, and it might have been the fact that i brought it back to my brother's place before eating it (so it wasn't pipiing hot) but it was really. really. gross.

NY, Chicago, LA are all the same to me just theyre on the West/Midwest/East Coast parts of the US.

LA is the dirtiest/smoggiest/materialistic.
NY is the meanest/diverse/biggest.
Chicago is the jazziest/mobiest/black.
