So many good ones. But "I am the Night" always was one that moved me. Really gets into Bruce's psyche.

I love when Poison Ivy goes nuts and smacks ventriloquist, which was in the episode "Trial".

In no particular order
  • Read My Lips
  • Joker's Favor
  • The Laughing Fish
  • Harley and Ivy
  • Feat of Clay (both parts)
  • Mudslide
  • Mad as a Hatter
  • Two face (both parts)
  • Batman Beyond - Return of the Joker (yes, its a movie, but its truly excellent)
  • Epilogue (Its technically a part of the JLU animated series, but its the 'official' ending from Timm and crew to their entire BTAS saga, and its an AMAZING episode. It answers a lot of unusual questions, raises others. It works as a bookend to the first BTAS episode (on leather wings). I'm always so shocked how few BTAS fans have seen it! MUST SEE!!!)

Two-Face 1 & 2
Heart Of Ice
Cat And The Claw 1 & 2
Feat Of Clay 1 & 2

i'm surprised by the lack of love of day of the samurai and night of the ninja fans...

kyiado-ken was truelly badass.

day of the samurai is ****ing brilliant. It's strange to see bats worried about entering combat with someone.

So much about his past, his relationship to dick and alfred and his sensei are all revealed in such a short period of time, especially in day of the samurai.

the rest of people's choices are somewhat expected but i didn't think the majority would miss this gem out of things.

That's true...I don't know how I missed that, since it has some of my favorite Batman acting moments. I'm adding that t the list.
Along with the two Clock King episodes (don't know how I missed those either...I must have been tired).

couldn't agree more! Checkout the name.
I'm surprised there hasn't been some version of him in the batman. Bat's is head over heels the best combatant in that cartoon series, it would be really good if he met a supposed equal and actually had to question his abilities.

So what's the vote on the best dvd set to get?

Vol. 1,2,3, or 4?

2 and 1 have my favourite eps, i haven't bothered really getting any of the others..

There are so many good ones it is so hard to choose.

I am not going to put them in order I'll just put them down...

The Demon's Quest, Vertigo (kind of a prequel to the demon's quest), Christmas with The Joker, I am the Night, Never Fear, Over the Edge, Legends of the DarkKnight, Old wounds, The Laughing fish, A bullet for Bullock, Lock Up, Bane, Red Claw, The Lion and the Unicorn, If you're so smart why aren't you rich (and every other Riddler episode.)

I was always a fan of the more crime noir oriented episodes:

POV
Appointment in Crime Alley
It's Never Too Late
Vendetta
The Man who Killed Batman
Shadow of the Bat pt 1/pt 2
I Am the Night
A Bullet for Bullock
Read My Lips
The Cape and Cowl Conspiracy
