I enjoyed it and agree with your comparisons and throw in there a bit of Mission Impossible as well. I hope Tom shooting Solomon will see him return as his nemesis, I didn't care for the jokey, babyface version of Solomon, he makes a much better villain IMO.

I see everyone in the Blacklist thread is saying what I was thinking, the sexual chemistry between Tom and Scottie is weird given she's his Mom, I am guessing not intentional but still.....I also know Famke is 20 years older than Eggold but he looks a bit older than he is and she looks younger than she is, so they don't really strike you as a mother/son combo.

Also thought so as well, kinda funny considering the main character in the Mission Impossible tv series name was Jim Phelps (which is similar to one of Tom's many identities ''Jacob Phelps''

I'll be checking the series out cause tom was cool in season's one and 2 but the alexander kirk thing wasa bit of mixed bag that I dropped in part of it.

I'm fan of mission impossible and Nikita but the the Nikita
I like was the one with patta wilson as the star with the cold mission operatives as it was called. not the more rescent assassin even though I watched the latter at bit. the form some was better sadly to say.

but man did I love Alias. the way I view x-men at times with some only with hint of burn notice if the writers of x-men would allow it.

lol and did pick up that creep vib between tom & his mom and I hope it never goes there. please don't go there .


I just love my spy series merc's not so much but we'll see how thise goes.

Terry O'Quinn makes everything he's in better - if I were casting a Tv series, I would have him in the mix for sure.

well not every thing harh realm and then the more recent of years gang related but those shows had problems that couldn't be saved with his acting . lol damn gang related "call of the hit." "it's too late to call of the hit." almost every episode. oy.

I missed him in Hawaii 5 "O" but we'll see how he does here. the writers on the black list are better then the cancelled show he was on last. far better. so I'm the show will be of his actor level.

Which is what needed for both thy shows writing and the actor's to complement each other well.

While The Blacklist is “a cop show in many ways, this is a spy show,” EP John Eisendrath said about the series’ latest spin.

I think its from a previous episode where Tom had to flirt with Scotties personal assistant in order to gain access to her laptop.
